About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I made a mistake of getting a single entry visa from the UK to China.

Now by visiting Hong kong, it invalided my current one to reentre China. However my flight back to London was booked to depart from shanghai. I am wondering if I can benefit from the 72 hour rule by booking a single trip flight from Hong Kong to shanghai then take my originally booked flight back to London in 72 hours?

Hi, Cindy! I think you are eligible for the 72 hour free transit policy. Take it easy.
