About:Shanghai Maglev Train

We arrive in Shanghai airport at 4:30pm.How convenient is it to take the Maglev train to Nanjing?

Hey, the train runs from PVG to Longyang Road. So you cannot take it to Nanjing.
You can take airport shuttle bus line 5 to SH Railway Station. There you can take high speed train to Nanjing. Many trains are scheduled there from 06:00 to 21:45.

Thanks...where do you find the shuttle bus. Is it well marked in English? We would like to buy our ticket ahead of time for the Nanjing train, but not sure how much time to give ourselves to go through customs, baggage, bus etc. Do you know how long this might take to get to the train station? Or should we buy our tickets when we get to the station?

Hey, the shuttle bus would be very easy to find outside the terminal building. Just follow the clear landmarks in the airport.

Generally, it takes half an hour or around to check out after landing.

Although you arrive in the afternoon, bullet trains to Nanjing are easily accessible at SH Railway Station, so it is fine to get a ticket on the spot.
