About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I apply for either the 24 or the 72 hour transit?

I am in Cambodia. I am flying to Guangzhou by China Southern Airlines and arriving at 10 PM. I have a flight to Hong Kong the following morning at 09 AM.
