About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

How can I get the Visa Permit?

I'm traveling to Hong Kong, then Manila and then Shanghai. I have Chinese Working Z type, but with one entry only, and of course I already used it. So when I came back from the Phillipines I just say to the airline that I need a 72 hours permit, and when landing go to the transit service counter and that's it? Also I'm staying on a friend's apartment but I'm gonna be less than 24 hours leaving really early in the morning, it's still necessary to notice the police?

Hope you can answer soon as possible..

Thanks - Christian

After flying from Shanghai, where do you want to go?
If you do not go back to Manila, you are able to enjoy the 72-hour free transit. The process you mentioned is correct. Since you will stay in a friend's apartment, you need to register at local PSB on your own.

When I get to Shanghai (arrive at 4pm), I'm gonna go for the rest of my luggage on my friend's apartment, and wait until next day morning (10:00am), to board my plane back to Mexico, so I don't have a third Visa, so I hope that is not a problem! And also is it really necessary to notice de local PSB? I'm gonna be less than 24 here..

Christian, it's required to register at local PSB if you stay for a night.
