About:Harbin Ice Festival

How to get to Harbin from Beijing (Haiden District) and how long is travel time.

Hi! We are on a tour in Beijing but planning to include Ice festival for 1 day.We are staying in Haiden District Beijing. What is the best mode of transportation and how long is travel the time? Is it possible to travel at night ? I read that opening will be on January 5 but we will be going on January 2,since this is a trial operation, how much will it cost? thanks in advance.

You can take an overnight direct train to Harbin, such as Z1 and Z15. The travel time is about 10 hours.

As for your travel cost in Harbin, I’m not sure. It dependson what kind of food you plan to eat and hotel you want to live. In general, for budget hotel, the price is around 150 to 250 per night. You can budget according to your need.
