are there any direct flight to hainan island

or, have to take flight to any other nearby Chinese cities and take a connecting flight to HN island.  What are the requirements..in terms of visa, accommodation, amount of foreign currency allowed and any other special requirements by the local authorities. etc..

No direct flight. You are suggested to transfer in Xiamen, or Guangzhou. Besides, you don’t need a visa if going to the island when you travel to there as a group (at least 5 members) organised by International Travel Agencies that have been set up and registered in HN provinceYou'd better exchange Chinese Yuan before. It would be more convenient than foreign currency for the latter would be only accepted in some places.
