Your spouse and kids do not need to apply for the tourist type, for Hong Kong is 14 days entry-free for Indian passport holders.

However, you need to apply one for yourself. You can either submit the application through the Chinese Embassy in New Delhi or directly contact the Hong Kong Immigration Department and submit the application by post or through a local sponsor (if there is).

The documents required are the application form ID 1003A which can be downloaded from the website of HK Immigration Department, a recent photo affixed on the form, photocopies of your passport, financial standing proofs (bank statements, tax receipts, etc.) and employment proofs (employment permit, salary slips, etc.), transpotation arrangement prrofs (eg. flight itinerary), and the photocopy of the proof of your proposed leisure visit.

Sanju, you need to apply from HK Immigration Department directly. It takes four to six weeks for them to process your application. The required documents are:
1. a copy of your passport information page
2. filed ID1003A form
3. a recent passport size photo
4. travel itinerary
5. round-trip air tickets and hotel booking in HK
6. personal financial statement, your salary slip, employment proof, recent six months bank statement etc
