Brett, did you get married in China? If you register you marriage at local civil affairs successfully and get your marriage certificate, then your marriage is definitely legal in China.

Yes, I got married in China in the year 2009 with the chinese and i petitioned her to come to America, but she was denied and the immigration says we dont have bonafied relationship. And they are right she only used me. And after 5 years I want to petition my filipina girlfriend but I am just aware if what happened to me with the chinese will affect my petition now to my fiancee.

Generally speaking, you can tell whether a Chinese marriage certificate is genuine from the embossing seal on it. However, it is not one hundred percent for sure. You should quiry your marriage status at the marriage registration office.
As a rule, when you apply for a marriage certificate in China, a passport is not enough. You should also submit your visa or resident card as well as a notarized marriage status statement. So there is a big chance that your marriage is illegal.
