About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arrival to Shanghai airport. I have a UK passport. can I avail this facility?

Hi I am coming from Dubai to Shanghai airport for 48 hours and then returning back to Dubai.

I'm sorry, you cannot avail the 72 hour free tansit, as the rule goes, going back to the country you departed from is not a valid transit.

hi , can I get a china visa on arrival in the airport as I forgot to get the visa and due to travel tomorrow ? thank you

Sue, which city will you arrive in? If you will arrive in Shenzhen or Hainan, you can enjoy get a visa on arrival, but it's hard to get it in other cities. Or you can buy a ticket from the city you will enter to Hong Kong or a third country, so that you may use the 72 hour or 144 hour free transit policy.
