About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Entry permit to HK, Gangbei Port (Chine) and Macau

Sir, I-an Indian national and passport holder, with my spouse, planned to visit HK for 7 days then leave for Gangbei Port (China) for 6 days.I have already booked the air tickets and hotel accommodation to these places. While staying at Gangbei Port I wish to visit Macau reaching there in the morning and returning before midnight just for two occasions. Finally i have planned to come back India via HK only.
Please suggest the suitable entry permits requirement. Thanks in advance.

Hi, you don't need to apply entry permits for Hong Kong and Macau.

In your case, you will enter mainland China twice. Since you are visiting Zhuhai area, it's possible you can apply for VOA each time. However, just to be sure, you had better apply for a double-entry in advance.

Indians enjoy 14 days free access in HK, and 30 days in Macau. So you needn't apply any type in advance before you go there. According to what you said, you need to enter Gongbei of Zhuhai two times. Seriously, Indians can apply for 3-day special VOA for Zhuhai when they arrive. It means that you needn't apply in advance. It costs around CNY 168 for each person. However, there is no guarantee that you can be granted successfully.

If you have sufficient time, I think you should apply for a double entry L type for mainland China before you go. Then you won't have trouble in your trip.
