P - an US passport holder currently living in Hong Kong

Hi there,

I am an US passport holder, currently living in Hong Kong. I noted from your previous reply that I am unable to benefit from the 72 hours free transit. Thanks.

If I plan to visit Hangzhou for 3 days during Christmas holidays, can I apply for VOA upon arrival at Hangzhou Airport, or I must apply for China entry one in advance before departing from Hong Kong?

Thank you for your advice.

I'm sorry, VOA rules do not work for Hangzhou Airport,so you must apply for a single-entry L type before departing from Hong Kong. I suggest you apply through a travel agency, which may handle the affair faster so that u can spend Xmas in Hangzhou.
