Can be check in town if not buy Hong Kong airport express tickets

Hi, 1. If we use the express only one way from airport to Kowloon station. Can we use check in town service, if not buy the express on the way back to airport? Because on the last day we plan to go Disneyland and will take taxi directly to airport.

2. Can we use service check in town at airport express, if we don't buy or use the express service at all. But we will buy octopus card to use for mrt and bus.

No, you cannot enjnoy the Free In-town Check-in Service in either of the cases. The in-town check-in counter is in the AE station. You have to scan the AE ticket or Octopus Card to get in. And the corresponding fee would be first deducted. All in all, you do need an AE ticket or Octopus Card with enough balance for this service.

By the way, you also need to consult your airline first whether you can enjoy the service.
