International Transfer at Guangzhou Baiyun Airport

Can anyone advise if the international transfer process is painless? I'm flying Melbourne - Kathmandu with 1hr to transfer in GZ..this seems tight to me!

Yes, an hour is too tight for an intenational transfer. You'd better change a later one. However, if you use the same airline for the onward flight, they will arrange well all process and your time would surely be enough.
