Hello, I'm an Italian citizen living in France and registred at the Consulate in Nice. Is it risky to buy tickets before starting the visa procedure? I mean are the L type requests for Italins normally accepted? Thank you

monica, round-trip air tickets and hotel reservation are required if you want to apply for a L type. If you have valid resident permit in Nice, you have great chance of getting a L type. If you are worried, you may visit the Chinese embassy/consulate to confirm whether you can apply.
