If I drop off my visa application, can I have my visa mailed to me or do I need to come pick it up?

Bridget, the embassy usually asks the applicant to submit and collect their visas in person. If you can't come, you may ask your friends or families to submit your application and pick it up for you. As for your question, I think you'd better consult this with the Chinese embassy/consulate in your area.0
