marrying a Chinese lady

My fiance is Chinese. She wants to marry and me, a U.S.citizen, move to China and live there with her. Is this possible? Since a Chinese lady can come and marry a U.S. citizen, I was wondering if either could retain their natural citizen ship as well as live in another country, being China.

Her Chinese citizenship won't be void unless she plans to acquire the citizenship of USA. Getting married with you has no effect on her Chinese citizenship. If you plan to stay with her in China, then you need to apply for a Q1 type. Except for your passport, application form and photo, you should provide invitation letter from your wife, a copy of her Chinese ID card and your marriage certificate (both original and copy versions).
