Hello, just to check is there a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Harbin Airport

and do I need a special visa?

No, there is no direct flight available, you can choose to transfer in Guangzhou.
And you’d better apply an ordinary Tourist L visa in advance.
