About:China Customs Declaration

I have my grandmothers wedding ring and I want to take it to China

which i want to china to give to my daughter i am not sure how much it is worth do I need to get an appraisal fro customs to see or will they assess its worth.

If you wear it on your hand, the custom will not check it. So please do not worry.
