About:China Transit Visa

Indian national traveling to US via Beijing

Hello,

I have an employee whose inlaws are traveling from India to the US via China. They have a 15-hour layover in Beijing and would like to visit the Great Wall. Are they required to obtain a transit visa? Thank you!

Since their transfering time is only 15 hours in Beijing, no Transit G is required for visiting the Great Wall. They only need to apply for a stay permit to leave the airport for Great Wall sightseeing.
