About:China Work Visa

if i have a working visa and only work 20 days but want to travle after

Hi,
I am going to work in China for 20 days and have all the documents ready to get one. I want to know how long am I allowed to stay on China for as i want to visit my parents for 14 days in Beijing after my 20 days work. Do ineed to apply for another type as i will be staying past 30days? If so how? Thanks

You will work in China for 20 days? Do you have an invitation letter from the company you will work? If so, how long is the period printed on the letter?

Usually, a Work Z has a vality for 30 days. After the holder enter China, he/she needs to go to the local PSB to change it to a resident permit. After getting the permit, he/she can stay in China for at least over 180 days. The Work Z is always issued to those who will work in China for a long time.

Your situation may be different fromt the ordinary situation based on your description. Would you mind tell me more about your work information.

In general, the staying time is based on the invitation if you have that letter. For you, the best situation is to apply for a single entry with a duration of stay for 60 days and maybe you can consider to apply for a F type instead of a Work Z.
