Karen, there is no official historical records about the Christmas in China. However, Chrstmas became popular in the 1990s. Chinese Christmas is very different. It seems that this festival is used by the business people to make money. Here in Xian, young guys march on the street on the Christmas' Eve. They even wear masks. It is not a religious festival. Instead, it looks like a gala for young generation.
