About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Visa for my chinese girlfriend

My girlfriend and I decided to go to Hong Kong for 3 nights. As Italian, I needn't apply, but my girlfriend yes. What has she to do? Where she sh as to go to apply one? And if it is possible to know, how much it costs?

Marco, can you tell what nationality your girlfriend has? Normally, there are two ways. She can apply from Chinese embassy if the embassy accepts her application. If the embassy deals with her application, it takes around 4 or 5 working days. If her application is sent to HK Immigration Department, it takes four to six weeks. The embassy decides how much it costs. Another option is to send her application to HK Immigration Department by post. It takes four to six weeks too. In this case, it costs HKD 160 to 180.

You mean she is a Chinese with Chinese passport?
If so, she needs to have a Two-way Permits with a register to enter HK. She can apply it at the local Chinese embassy/consulate.
