about the picking up time for my passport, urgent please

Hi,I just applied for china tourism visa.. pasport and documents where summited on the 3rd of December 2014 being on wenesday and I was given a note(receipt of pick up) saying that I should wait for a call..Today is Friday...Please do I need to contact them to know the status or should I not?.. Thanks.

You are suggested to wait if you cannot get a call on Monday, Dec 8. Usually, the processing days are around four working days. If you cannot get the call till that time, you can call to check the status.
