i am an austrian citizen touring asia. can i get a 60 day chinese permit in bangkok?

I bought flight tickets from BKK to KMG and from HKG to VIE (Austria). I have youth hostel reservation for the first week of my roundtrip. I can also provide a bank statement. I have travelled to China in the past 4 years with a permit issued in Austria.

Since you have already travelled to China in the past 4 years, you can try to apply it in Thailand. If you already have a detail travel plans, you are suggested to provide, to make the application much easier.
