About:Guangzhou Metro Line 2

south railway station to guangzhou railway station

Hello. we are a family with 2 children. We will arrive from zhuhai by train at 5 PM and we will take a night train to guilin from railway station at 6.30 PM. What is the best way : metro or taxi ?

Since you have 2 children, you’re suggested to travel by taxi. It would be more comfortable. BTW, the taxi would cost CNY60-70 and it takes 20-25min to arrive.

If you have many luggage, metro is also very conveneint. The South Railway Station metro station is right in the same building with the railway station. It is easy to find that and take metro line 2 to GZ Station directly. It takes around 35min and the fare is CNY6 per person. Your children probably get discounts.
