What's the procedure and document required for Srilanka family to reunion in China?

You are Chinese nationality or Sri Lanka nationality? If you are also a foreigner, you husband needs to apply for a S1 to reunite with you in China. If you are a Chinese, he needs to apply for a Q1.

I am a Chinese. We were registered marriage in Srilanka. Now wish he moves to China to reunion and work.

If so, he can apply the Q1 and he needs to prepare the following documents: your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, an invitation letter from you, copy of your ID card and your marriage certificate authenticated by Chinese embassy in your country. After entering China, he needs to change the Q1 to a resident permit to live in China for a long time.

I should remind that it is not allowed to work if one has a Q1. It is illegal. If your husband wants to work, he needs to have a Work Z type to enter China.
