hey. We were planning to visit the city on 15-21 dec this year. I have kids. is it okay for them to be outside in those chilly days? what would you recommend us to visit with my kids? any fun family activities and places to visit or festivals around? especially during chilly months? would you advice some precautions that i should take note for my kids?

The temp is 17 – 37 during the days you go. It would be ok if you take thick clothes, hats, breathing masks, gloves, and boots for them. No festival in those days, I recommend you go to the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Beihai Park, Happy Valley, BJ Zoo, Aquarium, Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Precautions: prepare enough thick clothes for them before you go. Take care of them when you travelling in the city.Wish you have fun!
