convert one year to 10 year visa to china

I obtained a one year one to china in early October just prior to the US-China agreement that the permits are to be extended to ten years. Can I get my present 1 year type changed to 10 year? I don't want to pay another @@$@@130

It is impossible to change your current one year one to a 10 year one, unless you try to apply a new one. Personally speaking, you are suggested to use your current one year first. After it expires, you can apply for a new 10-year one.
