Hi. I am visiting Taipei end of January. Will I be able to see cherry blossom then? Which is the best place in Taipei to see it? And what fruits are in season then? Thank you.

Generally speaking, the florescence of cherry blossom is late Feb. to the middle of April. Ali Mountain is regarded as the best place to appreciate the beautiful scenery of cherry blossom. Or you can go to Mt. Yangming Park. You will also see the large scale of blossom there. Hope you like. About the fruits, oranges and bananas are fresh fruits during that period of time. :-)
