chengdu-hanoi-chengdu-london-munich? can i apply for the 72 hour visa?

Question

I will be in Chengdu in july next year and plan to go Vietnam for two weeks. My flight back to Germany will depart from Chengdu Airport but I will have to switch flights in London.

Tobi, you need to apply for a L type for your stay when you arrive in Chengdu. When you get back from Hanoi to Munich, you can make use of 72 hours free transit in Chengdu.
