About:China Visa Exemption

A passport holder of Nepal. Intending to fly from Sydney via Shanghai to Kathmandu.

Flying with China Eastern airline from Sydney and from Shanghai on the same day of arrival. Will stay in the transit area. I would like to confirm if direct transit without visa is permitted.

Badri, if you transit less than 24 hours, you needn't apply for any type in advance. Otherwise, you are required to apply for a G type in advance.
