You mean you already planned to apply for a visa for the meeting right?
If so, you do not need to get a seperate VOA after reaching HK. You just need to follow the signs to take the ferry at the airport.

After land in HK, you just need to go to the T1 to find the Ferries to Mainland/Macau Ticketing Counter at Transfer Area E2, where you need to buy the ticket and present your luggage tag. Then there are staff to guide to scan your ferry ticket and confirm the luggage at the ferry boarding entrance. Then board the APM to the Skypier where you can take the ferry to Zhuhai.
