whenwhich section to visit?

Hi we will be visiting Beijing on 17th - 18th Dec and again in Jan on the 11th - 12th. Which time would be best to visit the wall weather wise? We would like to go to a section that hasn't been too restored and wont be too busy. Any suggestions on which section is best to visit? We are thinking of just hiring a taxi for the day. Personally speaking, the Mutianyu Section is suggested. It is more beautiful, but with less tourists. Howeve, it is a little bit hard to tell the weather during that time, because it is so early to tell. In general, it will be cold in Beijing, so a down jacket and sweaters are suggested to prepare. On the Wall, it will also be windy.
