About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

The visa of my wife is S2 type and gets expired on April 17, 2015.

So can she come to China on 15th April 2015? OR she must come and leave China before 17th April?

The date "April 17, 2015" is printed at the "Entry Before" right?
If so, she enter China on 15th, April, 2015 and stay there for a period that is written at the "Duration of Stay".
