About:China Visa Application Procedure and Fee

Applying from abroad

Hi I am Australian but I live in the UK. Can I apply for a visa for China in the UK or do I have to do it from Australia?

Since you already live in the UK, you are able to apply it in UK. Remember to take your resident permit when making the application.
