The best choice is high speed trains.
There are many high speed trains running from SH Railway Station and Hongqiao Railway Station to Suzhou every day. You can just choose one station near you.
BTW, ticket price from SH: CNY59.5 for first class seat, and CNY39.5 for second class seat. Ticket price from Hongqiao: CNY64.5 for first class seat and CNY39.5 for second class seat.
