harbin in december from 27th to 30th

We are staying in North Garden Hotel in BEIJING and plan to visit Haerbin. Can anyone say what is the minimum number of days needed for this trip? How much would it cost to travel by train and how long? Any recommended 4 start hotels there?

If you only want to go sightseeing in Harbin City, two to three days is enough. If by train, the high speed train takes about 7 hours and a half, and cost CNY420.5-679.5 for a first class seat and CNY306.5-461 for a second class seat.As for hotels, the best choice is Shangri-la (no. 555 in Youyi Road, Daoli District), but it is a little expensive.
