About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

LHR - PEK via Moscow with Aero flot. Can I use 72 hrs free transit in PEK?

LHR - PEK via Moscow with Aero flot, then 70 hours in Beijing, then with Cathey Pacific to HKG.

Great, thank you.
just one last thing. so I am NOT flying a chines airline, meaning its not aTRUE transit.
I can fly fly to Beijing with one ticket and have another separate ticket for my onwards journey? or should it be with a Chinese Airlines, meaning a True transit to be eligible for this visa free entry?

You can use one ticket to fly to Beijing and use another seperate ticket for going to HKG. No Chinese airlines is necessary. Please do not worry.
