Hi,I came here with a 3-month tourist L and I would like to change it into business type because I plan to have commercial activities with a company here and I want to stay longer. I was told that it is possible to go to Hong Kong and request it. Is it true? What type of documents shall I bring with me?Many thanks,Audrey

To some extent, it is true, because I saw many people did so and got succeed. You need to provide your valid passport, an application form, a recent taken photo, your hotel bookings or living proof, your round trip tickets, bank statement if you cover your expense in China and an invitation letter from your Chinese partner.
