Business Visa - Hong Kong

Hi,

I came here with a 3-month tourist L and I would like to change it into business type because I plan to have commercial activities with a company here and I want to stay longer. I was told that it is possible to go to Hong Kong and request it. Is it true? What type of documents shall I bring with me?
