how to get from Kai Tak Cruise Terminal to HKIA

Hello

We will be arriving into Kai Tak Cruise Terminal in March of 2015. What is the best way to get from cruise port to HKIA. I understand there is a free shuttle that takes you to Kowloon (east) MTR station.

If we take this free shuttle can we pick up the City Bus to the airport? How far of a walk is it especially with luggage to manage.

For the best way to go from the cruise terminal to HKIA, I would suggest you take a taxi to Kowloon airport express station at the cost of 70-80HKD. After that, you can take Airport Express to the airpor in around 20min.

Actually, no free shuttle bus is available for all the routes. Instead, green minibus No. 86 operates between the cruise terminal and Kowloon Bay MTR Station (Telford Gardens) from 06:40 to 23:00 daily and it costs 5HKD per person. Afte getting there, walk aorund 160yd to Telford Gardens, Kwun Tong Road to take city bus no. A22 to HKIA and it takes around 65min.
