Single - entry Tourist L to China

My friend and I would like to travel to Beijing in February for around 4 days. We are currently employed in South Korea. As far as I am aware the valid time of Korean visa has to be 6 months or more, but one of our friends who was also employed here was told differently. I would like to know if there is any possibility of us getting one? We are both British citizens and in February I will have 5 months left on my visa and she will have 2 months.

Your ARC cards need to have at least 6 months validity for making your application in South Korea and you can further to consult at from local Chinese embassy.

Based on your situation, you may need to apply in Japan or try to apply in HK through a local tour agency.
