About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

want to see beijing but our flight stops in Shanghai also

Hi, my husband and I want to use the 72 hour visa free policy for a short visit in Beijing. Our flight leaves from Manila, stops in Shanghai and then to Beijing. from Beijing, we fly to Toronto with a layover in Shanghai. Can we still use this policy?

Thank you!

You are unable to use the 72-hour free transit, since you stop two cities in China.
May I know how long is your totral transfering time (from the arrival time in Shanghai to the departure time in Beijing)? If it is less than 24 hours, you may enjoy the 24-hour free transit. If it is over it, you need to apply for a Transit G for your transfering.
