You can apply a S1 for your baby to stay with you for a long time in China.

In general, you need to prepare an invitation letter from your school or any Duly Authorized Entity, an invitation letter from you, your resident permt & passport, your baby's birth certficate and health report. After prepare them, you just go to the Chinese embassy in your country for application. When you enter China, you need to go to the local Exit-Entry Adminstration Bureau to change your S1 to a resident permit.

It is just an Invitation Letter of Duly Authorized Unit, including the name of Duly Authorized Unit, your baby's name, longest stay, entries, date of first entry date, places to visit, visiting purposes, etc.

Does your husband have a work in China? If so, you can consult whether his company can provide one.
