From Philippines we will be entering Macau, stay overnight and go to Hongkong via ferry the next day. since hotel rates in Macau are high, we want to stay in hotel at Zhuhai Gongbei. are we required to get visa for less than 24 hours stay? are we entitled to get VOA to Macau and Zhuhai

For you Australian passport holders, you are available to get a VOA at the Zhuhai Border, but for the Phillipines are not able to get currently. So in order to make sure to enter Zhuhai without troubles, all of you are suggested to apply for a single entry Tourist L in advance.

For entering Macau, both Australians and Phillipines are able to enjoy a 30-day free entry policy, so that you can only use your passport to travel.

Thank you for that kind reply Mindy of Australia! The 3 filipinos travelling & staying overnight at hotel in zhuhai have been issued chinese visa 2 yrs ago. Is there a possibility they be allowed to get VOA at point of entry just like the australian passport holders? Pls advise

According to the latest news I got, the Phillipines are unable to get it even though they have a permit to enter China two year ago. In order to avoid being rejected, they are suggested to apply in advance.
