About:Marriage Registration in China

live in China for long days...

I have a friend in China. We want to live together in china. What we have to do to get me a long-term visa. If we marry. Then can I get long term one. If not then what can I do for long-term type.

If it is just your friend, you can only apply for a Tourist L type for staying in China and the best situation is that you can get a mulitiple entry one. Under it, you need to exit China every a certain time and then return.
If you get married, you can apply for a Q1 to live in China and then change it to a resident permit. With the permit, you can live in China for a long time.

It takes no more than 15 days to get a resident permit.
