You can directly take a long-distance bus at the Coach Terminal at Pudong Airport to Nantong first (9:50, 12:00,16:50 and 19:40). You will be taken to Nantong East Bus Station. After arriving, transfer to another bus to Hai'an diectly.

thank you for the reply earlier. so at Pudong airport I cant get a direct bus to Hai'an! I must take bus to Nantong terminal then transfer to Hai'an, that distance travel will be long hours! what is the better shortest route to go hai'an? is there another terminal in SH near Pudong that I can take a bus directly to Hai'an.

At the South Long-distance Bus Station, there are direct buses to Hai'an. This bus station is around 25mi from PVG. You can take airport shuttle bus line 7 to South Railway Station directly in 90-100min and then easily walk to the bus station to catch a bus to your destination.
