prepaid sim cards for internet

I'm visiting china next week. I need to buy a prepaid sim card only for internet use. My mobile phone is iphone 5s. Any suggestions for a cheap rates. Also can i buy this sim from the cauangzhou airport?

First, you should understand what mode your cellphone supports, WCDMA, CDMA or GSM. Then you need to choose an internet service provider according to the modes. China has three telecom companies, China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom. China Unicom mainly supports WCDMA and GSM. It doesn’t matter if you can’t buy a sim card at the airport. There are many offices in the city where you stay. You can buy the data package sim card easily.
