About:Exhibition of Decorations and Artwork

Is it better to stay in Shanghai or an outer city like Wuxi to take day trips, we have about 10 days

Well, it depends on which cities you are going to visit. But as your travel lasts 10 days, you'd better not have a base (I presume that is what you are meaning). It is fine to check in a hotel in your traveling city.
