About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Is it London-Amsterdam-Shanghai, then to Beijing eligible for the 72-hour free transit?

I would like to ask if I leave London-Amsterdam-Shanghai arrive 14/11, than fly from Beijing 23/11 to Bali and return to Shanghai 28/11 and in transit for 12hours for return flight back to London does the 72 hour free transit apply to me. If it does, when do I apply for the 72 hour free transit/do I apply on arrival 14/11 in Shanghai.

Best Regards

Your second trip from Bali to Shanghai and then flying back to London is eligible for the 72-hour free transit.

For the first trip, after you reach Shanghai on Nov 14, will you will go? If you just stay in China and wait for the flight from Beijing to Bali, your first trip is not able to apply for the 72-hour free transit.

You need to inform the airline that you want to enjoy this policy when boarding the flight to Shanghai. Then the staff will tell you how to do.
