is is possible to get to Nanning from Guangzhou? how long does it takes? and approx cost?

Of course it is possible, and you have several choices.
1. By plane: it takes 70-80min to reach there. The flight ticket always changes with the time.
2. By train: the ordinary train takes about 12hrs to Nanning. It cost CNY297 for a soft sleeper and CNY190-196 for a hard sleeper.
3. By bus: bus from GZ Provincial Bus Station take about 8 hours to reach Nanning. The ticket price is CNY200.
